best hd mini dv tapes you can buy! for hv20 canon camcorder?

are there differences in the quality in more expensive tapes?
i buy the cheap ones but i need to know if i should get the good ones?!!

    If you are not shooting a move or doing the national news, you really don’t need HD miniDV tape. I use the Sony Premium tapes – in 8 packs from Fry’s, they are $25.99.

    Just don’t re-use them. Shoot the video, fill the tape, lock the tape. It is your archive as well as the source tape.
