can i make a cd/dvd on my computer from HD camcorder.?

i mean i want to take party with HD camcorder and then writ it on cd/dvd with my computer. is it possible? if yes how? please answer if you know. thanks to everyone!

    It is not to hard hard to do as long as you have a cable of some sort to connect this to your computer. You can use Microsoft movie maker to do it and it is free with windows XP. Once you get the movie files imported you can manipulate them and add your own sound track. Once you are done then just save your project and burn it to a DVD. The full details would take a pretty long time to explain.

    yes, its possible. your camera came with software and driver disks that need to be installed on your computer first. (read the manual). then you can import the video and burn it on a cd or dvd.
