Cheap Mini DV HD Camera?

Are there any mini dv camcorders that are under five hundred dollars? If so please list some you know of and the site I can view them!

    There are no MiniDV HD camcorders – MiniDV is SD.

    The least expensive ones I know of are the Canon HV20, HV30, HV40 and Sony HDR-HC9. They record to standard definition DV, standard definition DV widescreen and high definition 1080i formats. I think they will be outside your budget – but the HV20 has been discontinued (ahd the HV30 is being replaced by the HV40), so you may be able to find them on clearance somewhere.

    Be very careful of "lowest price" on the web – there are scams that sell either grey market or open box cameras and they won’t ship until you add an expensive battery or something else… Adorama and bhphotovideo are reputable and can be trusted – I’ve purchased from both several times.
