**HD CAMCORDER QUESTION**?
Hi, Im 17 and have always been quite interested in Videography... But the thing is, I've always wanted a HD Camera. I have a few models that all seem to appear good, until someone finds a small problem.
The models I have looked at are
Canon LEGRIA HF21
Sony HDR-SR11
Panasonic HDC-TM700
Could someone with either some experience in videography or general experience please give me some advice. I am serious about my videography, but I don't want to spend loads of money. I need to learn not just invest in a huge camera straight away....
I would really appreciate some feedback.
Thanks

Of the three cams you are considering, I would choose the Canon because it is does not use a hard disk drive (HDD). HDD cams use a mechanical drive that uses lots of battery power and are subject to malfunction should the the camera be dropped or jolted abruptly. Then you would loose all your video. The Canon HF21 records video and stills to dual memory, either to the internal flash memory or to SDHC memory cards. Being able to use cards is much more convenient. You can get several cards and switch them for different video projects. Plus you can edit them later. Also you don’t have to connect the camera to your computer; you can use a card reader instead.
