    if you have that kind of money, definitely go with the sony. flip’s are good for just making silly videos to put straight on to youtube and aren’t very high quality. And, due to the built in software that comes with the camera, your options in terms of editing are very, very limited. Sony on the other hand offers a wide array of great camcorders, many of witch are HD and have a ton of cool features. Overall, i would go with the sony.
