    The Canon VIXIA HG21 is my personal favorite. 1920×1080 HD resolution (not anamorphic) at 60, 30, or 24 frames per second. Can record about 45 hours of low quality video or 11 hours of max quality (proffesional resolution video) onto a 120 GB included hard drive inside it. However, be warned: If shooting in max quality file sizes are huge! (About 66GB per hour) Or you can shoot in standard mode and it takes up less memory. AVCHD camera, easily transportable (about 2 pounds). The best deal i got was on amazon.com for about $700.
