what camcorder do i get?

i m a video editor and a couple of my friends and me want to make a small production team, makin in house stuff....
i of course dontafford a pd or something but was thinkin of getiing an HD.....which is around 40,000 bucks here [around 0 US)...
which are good options?? i dont want the dvd one just at least a mini dv will do....
please tell me......!
does anyone use any HD? how is it?

    I won’t be able to comment on which camcorder to get since I have not been in the HD market lately but as a video editor, it’s important to have a fast computer to take in HD content and be able to edit.
    A quick look on pricegrabber.com revealed that there are no mivi DV HD camcorders for under $800. There are some under $800 but will be on either SD or HDD.
