    i just got the Sony HDR-XR100 80gb $338 from http://www.gogodigitalcams.com and it rocks 80gb hard drive 10x zoom and its easy to use i clicked on camcorders and went to $200-$500 range and found this one a lot cheaper than anywhere else, i go through a lot of cameras and camcorders w/ work (i get to buy them use them and trade them back to the company for full re-imbursement) which is cool, and this is the latest one i got and so far its awesome, i’ve been getting a lot from this site lately because of the prices so check them out, and give this sony a look i think you’ll like it, if u want to spend a little more money canon makes great camcorders, pretty significant price difference for what you get.

    Good HD camcorder for under $350 that I found is Sanyo VPC-FH1A Full HD Video but it does not have internal memory, you need to buy SD/SDHC card separately.

    This one http://www.digitalimaginghq.com/panasonic-sdrh85k-black-80gb-hard-drive-digital-camcorder.html is just a little over your price range, but it definitely works really well. It’s very easy to use, and the LCD screen is awesome. I got one for my brother for his graduation, and he likes it a lot.
