Which is better for DSLR Video? Canon or Nikon?
I know if you were to compare dslr hd video with regular camcorder hd video.. probably the camcorder would win.
but I want to get rid of my nikon d60. first, because i want an upgrade. and second. because i want a camera that holds HD video.
im not sure if i want to stay with nikon. i mean, yeah sure was good, but for some reason i prefer canon. i just like it better.
but their lenses are more expensive (in general).
so, im not sure.
im gonna base my judgement in.. between Canon and Nikon.. who has the best quality for hd VIDEO?
and for less than 00 which camera do you recommend? plz i want to stay between nikon and canon. so just suggest nikon and canon
thanks ![]()

If you mainly for video I would recommend Canon and for under $1000 Canon T2i is a great choice. Improved EOS Movie mode with manual exposure control and expanded recording 1920 x 1080 (Full HD), ISO 100-6400 (expandable to 12800) for shooting from bright to dim light.

I would suggest Canon EOS Rebel T2i 18 MP CMOS APS-C Digital SLR Camera
I would go with the nikon d90 or the nikon d5000. Go to http://www.dpreview.com to help you choose your camera.
I will suggest you Canon LEGRIA FS306 Camcorder – Red (37x Optical Zoom, 2.7 Inch Widescreen LCD)

Canon seems to be willing to
innovate more. Nikon may have an edge in its flash system.
Canon has an edge with widely available USM and IS lenses.
Try them for fit and feel with your shooting style and choose
whichever works better for you. Neither company is likely
to fold.
